Oak 2023 - 2024

Hello and welcome to Oak Class!

In Y5, the adults are Miss Davis, Miss Bennett, Miss Royale and Mrs Gray (mornings only). We love having fun and learning in Y5!

Our PE day is a MONDAY and this is swimming for this half term. Please come into school wearing your swimming things under your PE kit on this day (navy, black or grey jogging bottoms/shorts and your school PE t-shirt). Please wear appropriate trainers as we will be walking to and from the EPSV. 

We also have Forest School on a TUESDAY. Please come to school wearing your Forest School clothes with a spare pair of shoes/wellies/clothes in a named bag.

Our English text this half term is The Darkest Dark by Chris Hadfield. Our current class novel is Cosmic by Frank Cottrell-Boyce.

Please continue to read with your child as much as possible and work on their times tables. We encourage the children to talk about the books that they have read.
