Meet our Local Academy Board
I am a parent of three children who currently attend Wolverham Primary and Nursery School. I currently work at Chester Hospital where I began my career within Cardiology 18 years ago. I became a Parent Governor at the school in 2014 after wanting to became more involved in my children’s education and I hope to contribute in helping all the children within the school to reach their full potential and ensure that we have given them the best possible chance. |

I’m Jo Johnson and I have been a member of staff at Wolverham for the past 7 years. I am also a Mum to a little boy who is 4 years old and have another on the way. My background is mainly within Early Years as a qualified Nursery Nurse. Over the last 16 years I have been working in Primary Education, my roles have included, Nursery Nurse, Pre-School Room Leader and Teaching Assistant - including class cover. I recently felt it was time for a change and had the chance to move up to KS2 supporting year 5, I thoroughly enjoyed the role and the challenges it brought. When the opportunity to become a staff governor became available, I decided I’d love to be a part of our governing body to help support our school in moving forward and providing the best for our pupils, staff and families. |

Having worked at Wolverham Primary School for nearly 12 years, I am very proud to be a part of our school community as Deputy Headteacher. I joined the Governing body just over 18 months ago and enjoy all aspects of the role. In my spare time, I enjoy walking and spending time with my family friends. I am Mum to two young daughters and, as such, a lot of my free time involves ferrying them around! |
