Year 4

Spring Term 

In Year 4, the adults are Miss Shuter, Mrs Leason, Miss Kiernan, Mrs Jones and Mrs Celpite. 

PE is on THURSDAY afternoon, taught by Mr Burkey. The children can come to schoool wearing their PE kits. This half term is handball, throwing and jumping so please ensure they have appropriate footwear.

Forest School is on a TUESDAY monrning, taught by Mr Hadfield. Plese ensure that the children  come dressed appropriatly to be outside, including hats, coats, gloves etc. They can keep wellies in school.

The gates open at 8:35. The children come through the gate to the left of the school. The gate closes at 8:45. School finishes at 15:20. You can give permission for your children to walk home on School Spider.

This half term, our book in English is Escape to Pompeii by Chrisstina Baltit. Our current class novel is Rumaysa: A Fairytale by Radiya Hafiza.

The children have their own TTRS log in - please encourage them to log in and practice their times tables as often as possible.

Please continue to read at home with your child and encourage them to talk about the books they have read!
