PE Funding
At Wolverham Primary and Nursery School, the children enjoy high quality sporting experiences.
Each year, we receive the government’s PE and Sport Grant to enhance our PE curriculum and we spend this on promoting healthy lifestyles and enhancing the PE provision for our children.
The funding has been used to:

Provide opportunities for children to be taught by professional coaches to further enhance the provision and provide professional development for staff

Provide new sporting experiences to children and additional extra-school activities

Enhance the competitive sporting opportunities with local schools

Purchase an all year round multi games area

Continue to build on the successes of the COAKSPP partnership to increase children’s participation in competitive sports

Monitor staff confidence and provide high quality CPD

Promote a healthy lifestyle and healthy meal choices through healthy eating workshops for some families
