Breakfast Club and Before/Afer School Care

At Wolverham, we proudly run the government piloted free breakfast club, aimed at giving every child a free breakfast.

There are two options:

Option 1 - Before School Care

Parents should book their children on via school spider onto Before School Care. This is for Nursery to Year 6. Children can arrive for this any time from 7:45 until 8:15. This costs £2 for children in Reception to Year 6, and £3 for children in Nursery, no matter what time the children arrive. Any child that comes to Before School Care gets breakfast for free. Entrance is through the Learning Community Room.

Option 2 - Free Breakfast Club

Parents should book their children on via school spider onto Free Breakfast club. This is for any child from Reception to Year 6 and starts at 8:15. Any child arriving will be able to have breakfast for free. This is toast, cereal or fruit. There is also water available. This will close promptly at 8:30. Entrance is through the hall. Once the hall curtain is shut at 8:30, no other children will be able to enter, and they will need to go through the gates to their classroom.

You must book onto either of these options via School Spider, by the day before at the latest. 

Children are allowed to bring a healthy snack with them to eat at break time. Some examples of these are:

• Fruit or veg

• Cereal bars

• Rice cakes

• Yoghurt pouches

Please do not send your child with chocolate bars, crisps or sweets. Please also do not send in nuts.

After School Care

Our after school care is available for all children from Reception upwards. It takes place in our Learning Community Room and is run by school staff. 

Prices:

3:20pm - 4:30pm £5.50

4:20pm - 5:30pm £5.50

3:20pm - 5:30pm £10
