About Us

In Seedlings Class we take children from the age of 2. We have qualified and experienced staff that will care for your child. We aim to provide a variety of sensory play experiences to encourage language and develop explorative senses. Each child has a key person who is responsible for their observations and assessments.

We follow the ‘Birth to 5 Matters’ document, focusing on the prime areas which are;

  • Personal, social and emotional development,

  • Communication and language

  • Physical development.

We currently offer morning sessions, please see times below.

Morning session - 8.35am – 11.35pm

We also offer afternoon sessions, please see times below.

Afternoon session - 12.20pm - 3.20pm

Tapestry

We use the Tapestry App to keep in contact with parents. Your child’s key worker will upload regular photos explaining what your child may be learning during their time in Seedlings Class and giving some ideas of activities that you could complete at home to help your child to develop.

We also encourage parents to upload photo’s or video’s of their child completing these activities or of any WOW! moments that you may have with your child at home.

Parent Support

Please take a look at the links and websites below for ideas and information that you may find useful for supporting your child at home:

If you have any questions or want to talk to us about anything, please phone the school office and we will happily arrange a time to meet with you.

Thank you!

 Mrs Wilcocks, Mrs Rowland, Mrs Clarke and Miss Jones.
